PERSONAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Mostly I am a woman, a wife, a mother of teenagers and a human-being!
I studied junior primary teaching and taught Grades 2 and 3 from
1984 1990. * I completed a fourth year Diploma in Specialised
Education and registered as a remedial teacher in 1988.
I taught remedial both privately from home as well as part-time at
3 schools in the 1990s.
In 1993 I began my undergrad studies through UNISA towards my
Psychology degree.
I completed my Honours Psychology degree in 2000.
From 2001 2003, I studied towards my Masters degree in Psychology
at Vista University.
I completed my internship at the then PE Technikons Student
Counselling Department.
I registered as a Counselling Psychologist in January 2004.
I work privately home and also completed part-time work as psychologist
at the then PE Technikons Student Counselling Department
until December 2005.
During my time at Technikon, I did one-on-one counselling, developed
and presented workshops, did Peer-for-Peer training and
completed many assessments for students at tertiary
level.

AS PSYCHOLOGIST I OFFER THE FOLLOWING:
Individual, couple and family counselling and psychotherapy dealing
with chronic issues e.g. grief, anxiety, depression and trauma.
Group facilitation for e.g. stress debriefing, trauma support.
Corporate assessment and coaching
Marriage counseling; divorce counselling
Parenting counselling e.g. discipline issues, roles, boundaries,
communication strategies, conflict resolution.
Talks on appropriate topics e.g. Effective Parenting; Trauma; Relationships
